A New Experience

Knowing the storm within
The silence astounding
I stand outside,
A hope, a prayer
Racing heartbeats
I walk inside,
A smile plays
People, diversity I see
Days pass by,
I learn to live
Home I miss
But friends with open arms
Welcome me
into the new scenario.
Seniors – coconut-
hard exterior, soft interior
Campus, a city inside
Teachers, they make me
appreciate sleep!
Hungry, I stay forever …
Amity, a story inside,
another outside
A showcase,
presented carefully
Its real worth,
I am yet to know.

Why? Was it may fault??

At last, I am free
To be the way I am,
But in the second world, Alas!!

Gone are the days,
Of suffering, of helplessness
Full of contempt & chaos,
Of deep, profound pain
Alas, all that ends in vain

I was screaming, I remember,
Let me live, “Oh Lord help me”
And I remember people around me,
Cursing me, swearing at me.

Why? Was it my fault?

I remember the day,
When my creators left me,
To be gone forever...
I was crying & the world around me,
Was moving away…

As if I am not what I am
But an alien from another world
A creation of a lesser god.

Why? Was it my fault?

Earlier they loved me, adored me,
Showed me how to work,
To laugh and to sense…

But, after a biological test,
After the declaration of me
Being HIV +ve
They left me, to suffer,
To grieve alone
To die, in silence
With only me, to mourn me…

Why? Was it my fault?
I ask you…
… was it my fault?

For which I die,
Without a word of love
Without letting them know
That I can love, and am lovable,
That they can hug me, touch me,
Play with me…
Without excursing upon
Themselves my disease…

Why? Was it my fault?

Did I not deserve,
The love, joy, peace and pain of life?

Did I not deserve to be,
To live a life of my own doings.

Why am I snatched of a chance to live
To give & to prove what I can do

Why in the age of spoiling
My clothes with play,
Do they splurt me in my blood
Without dismay!!

Thank God! We're Not Human

Thank God! We’re not human
Ain’t the best of your creation
Nothing to choose from myriad options
With scarce planning, we go awesome

Thank God! We’re not human
No cognitive ability and thinking
Though don’t we let our children starving
    With frontal lobes less developed
    A blessing in disguise of evolution

Thank God! We’re not human
With no caste, no reservation
Together we fly, since our creation
Not discriminated for any malfunction
Ain’t diagnosed with diabetes, hypertension

Thank God! We’re not human
The blue sky with moon enlightening
Twinkling stars, with eyes fascinating
    They’re sayin’ together and all
    Whole world’s your destination
Thank God! We’re not human
Not the best of your creation

You Entered My Life

You entered my life like a breath of freash air
Sprouted lovely flowers on a land so bare
Slowly and steadily I became aware
Of the beauty in you so humble and rare...

With each passing day I feel more close to you
You cherish in my thoughts and in whatever I do
The warmth of winter sun and the scent of morning dew
Rejuvenates my spirit & so do you...

You added heartwarming notes to my love monotone
With your intelligent sense of humour you tickle my funny bone
In this passage of time you have shown
You are the most wonderful person I have known.

Batch 2k5-SUPERLATIVE

where results may b low,but spirits always high;
Its none other than Batch 2005.
Though v are not omnipresent ,but our minds always are;
This makes us travel world over during the tortuous lecture hour.
And if the teachers are smart enough to spot it just right;
They just tell us to leave,and merrily v r out of sight.
So pure is our conscience that v soon forget it all;
And ven the next class comes,our brain again goes 4 a stroll.
The punishment ceremony is repeated again n again;
Till our teachers realise that its all gonna b in vain.
Life gets a bit intolerable ven the examinations arrive;
Our vitals go crazy,and,its hard to survive.
It feels as if the heart has gone into the skull;
Something beats in the head n memories r dull.
But v r Batch 2k5 n not like other guys;
Our souls feel comfortable even when hard time arrives.
We dont burn the midnight oil,fuel is precious u see;
Even in such perilous times so well organised are we.
We know that in troubles v must give rest to our mind;
Hence,v take all 4 granted and sleep some more time.
Just like all bad times,to an end our exams also come;
Making our lives once again,so relaxed and awesome.
Even if our marksheets have all troughs n no crest;
That wont move our beliefe dat v r simply the best.
But still,if for others v are'nt that sensible;
V dont care as v know dat-v are truly INCREDIBLE!

Dedicated to my batch-2k5,jnmc.
